1. Runner User Manual
  1. If you already use Swissquote personal pages, simply enter your username and password to view the real time movements of your selected securities. Otherwise, create a personal page before beginning. Please note that inputting values directly into Runner will only affect the session in progress and will not modify your personal list.
  2. To add or remove a security from your Personal Page Runner, please click on the "Add/Remove" button.
Attention : All operations (modifications) that are made directly on the Runner are valid only for the current Runner session and are not definitive. That is to say, these modifications will not appear the next time you log on to your Runner and will never appear on your Personal Page.
To add more than one security please use a semicolon to separate them.
  3. For even faster intervention on your Portfolio, click on the "trade it" button that appears next to each security.
  4. If you have several lists of securities you can use the pull-down menu to navigate between the pages.
  5. If the connection is interrupted between your computer and our server or if the automatic update is interrupted, the window "Swissquote Runner" will indicate the status by a change of colour in the "Status" square (from green to a dark burgundy).
2. Legend
First Information : Daily tendency.
Just like on the regular SWISSQUOTE, the daily tendency can be seen by the colour and direction of the arrow on the left hand side of the "Symbol". If the arrow is green, the last paid price is higher than the previous close.

Second Information : Actual tendency.
Every time that the "Swissquote Runner" receives an update from our server you will be able to view the evolution of the security, this is directly in relation with the last paid price. If the background colour of the cell (last paid price) is green, it means that the most recent price paid is higher than the previous last paid price. If the background colour of the cell (last paid price) is red, it means that the most recent price paid is lower than the previous last paid price. This information stays present by the means of the colour of the number stating the price of the security in the column "Last". If there is a transaction on the security with the same paid price as the previous change, the colour of the text will become black indicating that the security price is stabilising.

3. Alerts
  1. Swissquote Runner now offers an alert system to enable you to fix your own target prices.
The left-hand column entitled “A” indicates whether an alert price has been set or reached.
Alerts are only active for the duration of a session.
You will start with a “clean sheet” each time you open Runner.

  2. The “history” button shows the last targets reached. If a target price is hit on any page, it will become blue with the number of alerts activated displayed in brackets.

  3. To set an alert.
    Firstly
Either click on the “ALERTS” button
Or click in the A column for the relevant security.

    Secondly
After choosing the relevant security from the left-hand list, select “Alert type” from the pull-down (Last, bid or ask).

Either enter the lowest value limit in the "Lower Boundary" field to activate an alert the moment the "Last, bid or ask" price hits or drops below this point.
Or enter the highest value limit in the “Upper Boundary” field to activate an alert the moment the "Last, bid or ask" price hits or exceeds this point.
    Or both.

Don’t forget to click the “Set alert” button!

  4. Alerts on standby are displayed by a white square with a black border in column "A".
Activated alerts have a small blue symbol inside the same square.
blank area means no alert has been set.
